One of the showrooms that I've visited in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin 2013 was fashion brand Degenerotika - which you can describe as a dangerous blend of beauty, eroticism, provocativeness, indifference, a violent breach and need to overcome social and stylistic conventions. It is set to eliminate the fear of otherness.

The collections are violent, fatal and uncompromising and demands of it's consumers to be rigorously individual, relentlessly attractive, with a strong and obstinate mentality. Degernerotika gets inspired by many origins from the past, above all surrealism, dada and also numerous styles in fashion that pursued extravagant expressions, it is definitely an avant-garde fashion name who needs to be remembered.

Degenerotika arose as an independent project in the last few years and became an intriguing (counter)part of Slovenian and lately also international fashion world. Degenerotika was portrayed numerous times in most of the Slovenian fashion and art magazines and made it's appearance on the higly prized fashion venues in Slovenia.

It is rumoured that it also caught the eye of several world renowned opinion leaders...

Today is a perfect day to rock my Jean Paul Gaultier maxi skirt, which I bought in a vintage store many years ago. Most of the time I combine long maxi skirts with a bustier top, because a my Summer fashion rules are:

RULE 1. Covered legs means you're allowed to show a lot of skin up! So for example you can wear just a bra, a bustier top or a cropped t-shirt.

RULE 2. If you decide to cover your upper body, for example with an oversized sweater, it means you can wear just a hotpants or a mini skirt so you can show of your legs.

Spice it up baby
I love to combine my biker boots to not make this look too girly. Same reason goes for my St. Pauli bag. I like to spice it up a little! But I also wear hippie sandals with it. If the weather gets really hot, you don't want to wear boots!

For the finishing touch I accessorize my look with a vintage belt and some jewelry.

What do you think about my look? And how do you combine your maxi skirts?

My first thought: Are these fashion snapshots from The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival? But no, the scenes pictured below capture a day in the life of a typical late sixties high school. Look at that amazing fashion!

hese high school fashions are photographed by Arthur Shatz in 1969 for LIFE magazine on an emerging trend in fashion, and the results seemed to find the youth of the time developing an identity for their generation.

This is what happens when you mix Spotify with alcohol: Drinkify, created in twenty-four boozy hours - according to the creators.

Drinkify automatically generates the perfect cocktail recipe to accompany any music. Never listen to music alone again!

After three years of waiting, MGMT finally released a new song! "Alien Days" is the first song on their forthcoming third album MGMT, which was released on a cassette tape with download card. On side A you'll find "Alien Days" and on side B "Message 7 from Hearty White".

A parasitic alien in your head
If you like your summer jams dripping with acid, “Alien Days” is the perfect song for you, although lead vocalist, guitar player and songwriter Andrew VanWyngarden explains the song as the feeling when "a parasitic alien is in your head, controlling things".

Don't own a cassette deck-recorder?
Listen to the song "Alien Days" for free on Soundcloud and decide yourself - how do you feel listening to their new song?

One of the things that literally caught my eye the last couple of months are colour-bomb print clothing. I remember back in the days a small glimpse of inscription on a t-shirt was looked on as something shocking. Now it seems that times have changed and anything goes!

I don't mind, I don't mind at all. I’m ready to replace my whole wardrobe with these fresh designs, and that means a lot for someone who is quite attached to her clothes.

Wow! Where can I buy these colour-bombs?
There are plenty of websites out there who sell this upcoming trend, like Revolution Riche, Mrgugumissgo, Alohafromdeer – but my at this moment my favourite is SugarpillsFrom sweaters, leggings, t-shirts, skirts and I-phone cases, they have everything:

Emma Cook is a London-based designer who made a very playful fashion film for her Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. I absolutely adore how she played with the prints of the creations but the way she integrated several fantasy elements and reflected its feminine attitude in a surrealist setting it simply amazing!

Man eating dinosaurs and rose spewing tigers
The fashion film is a sequence of surrealistic page turning scenes, featuring bizarre elements such as a man-eating dinosaur as well as a rose-spewing tiger, joined by a cheerful 1920s ragtime soundtrack and astonishing visual effects.

One of my favorite music video's is "Bombay" from El Guincho. A perfect carefree song to feel the heat, wherever you are.

A Carl Sagan parody (+ naked girls!)
Even if you don't like the music, you'll love the shameless video clip. The idea of the video originally started out as a parody of a Carl Sagan documentary, but Carl Sagan documentaries never had naked girls in them. Either way, the portrayed unorthodox situations take you on a tour through the cosmos and all scenes seems to be connected with each other in some way.

For me it represents the freedom of life, being yourself and let loose. And honestly, I wish I was one of the girls in this legendary video!

So I finally did it. I've created a digital playground for the images and thoughts out of my brain, in other words: a blog. Allow me to introduce myself briefly. Hi, I’m Anneliese – born on the third day of 1988 and I would like to welcome you to MY LAST ISSUE.

This is how I look with make-up, flashlight, Photoshop and all that stuff:

And this is the truth:

I started to work as a model many years ago. I kind of rolled into this job because I wanted to gain some work experience in the creative fashion industry and modeling was the easiest access.

Besides modeling, studying and socializing I work as a young creative professional. I launched a creative art factory called ROOM031

Within ROOM031 I develop unique concepts and creations, which results in the optimal balance between creativity and functionality. I'm available for  photography, fashion styling, artwork and graphic design.

What else?
I’m a vegetarian. Yes, it's true. I'm one of those girls who prefers to eat biological, healthy and vegetarian. I said prefers. Why? Because I'm a happy sinner. I exercise mostly in the club. I just love to put my red lipstick on and dance the night away. With a ciggy. Don't blame me, I'm young and stupid. (And sometimes way too honest.)

The world is my playground
I’m originally from Holland, but I love to travel and live everywhere. I feel like I don’t belong to a certain country, I belong to the world. Like my favourite artist Pete Doherty sang in his song: The Whole World Is Our Playground

I currently live in Berlin, Germany. I love Berlin to death. You think Amsterdam is liberal and tolerant? Wait and see Berlin - the most avant-garde, progressive and hip place on Earth.

But enough about me. Time to explain what this blog is going be all about. Or maybe.. You will need to find out by yourself.

XOXO, Anneliese
